The "brunch" scene here in Muscat has largely been unchanged for quite a while. I mean, mostly the same venue's have been offering brunches (albeit sometimes in re-vamped formats or drinks focus). Recently Trader Vic's at the InterContinental hotel started offering brunches on Saturdays and I have to admit it snuck under my radar for a while there. And I'm pretty annoyed I missed it because I definitely want to go to this!
This brunch differs from most, if not all other brunches in the fact that this is a sit-down meal with a menu and so you don't need to do anything other than eat, drink and enjoy. The style of this is that if you are in a group of less than 4 people, you each choose your main course, but if you are in a group of more than 4 people, everything is just brought to the table and you mix and match.
RO 37++ (RO 43.290) (or RO 25++ for soft drinks option) for unlimited Traders' cocktails and lunch, throw in some live music and a few more of their Mai Tai's and that'll make for an early trip to bed on Saturday night to make sure you're nice and fresh for work on Sunday!
