It's been announced today that we're all having a public holiday to celebrate the Muslim new year next week. What hasn't been announced is the actual day that we'll be having off. The day off will be the 1st day if the Muslim year (Muharram 1) but it isn't known exactly when it'll be. It's predicted to be on Wednesday 14th of October but we won't know for sure until Tuesday night when the moon is sighted (or not). Work will resume on Thursday the 15th of October if the 1st day is on Wednesday, if not, we'll have Thursday off with a return to work the following Sunday!
