Military music of Oman


Starting the day after tomorrow, 6th November and running for three nights at the Royal Opera House is an event called the Military Music of Oman.

It will host a variety of performances with the combined music of the military bands and the pipes and drums of the regiments of Oman and some overseas acts too. There will be the Scottish highland dancers, and the Locheil marching display team from New Zealand.

The entire event is held on the square outside at the Opera House and it starts at 7pm 6pm each night, arrive before this time to get a good view. This is a free event open to all!

  1. It should be a great evening, especially with the added attractions, of the marches from New Zealand and the Highland dancers. A quick note: the events on all three days start at 6 p.m. (not at 7 p.m.) and it's free seating with a lot of expected demand, so get there early! Cheers, - Desert Leopard
