Last Wednesday night before Ramadan

The piles of Vimto are here, in all their multi-pack glory. Which means Ramadan is once again almost upon us. Tonight represents possibly the last night for bars for a month, I guess it all depends upon when the moon is sighted.

It seems none of the major bars in town are having any special events of note to clear out their stock before the month-long shut down, so nothing really to report on that front.

Have a good weekend everyone, and remember that this coming Monday the 23rd is a holiday.

  1. What is the significance of Vimto at this most holy time of year?

  2. Not significant really, but imagine you're visiting someone during Ramadhan, it's a good idea to take a bottle of Vimto with you. God knows you can't take wine!!
