The Tour of Oman is back for a second year. It runs for 6 days between February 15-20.
There will be 5 stages and 1 time trial, and the overall distance is 848 KM's! The website that has been set up is very good, and well worth checking out to learn more about the tour.
The final day see's the cyclists riding from Quriyat to finish on the Muttrah seafront. All of the stages with the exception of Sur are held in the close vicinity of Muscat and can be attended by spectators relatively easily.
It should be fun!
Update: I'm told that all residents of the Wave have been told that their neighbourhood is effectively on lock-down and that there will be no street parking on the eve and day of the first phase of the tour.
