Opening it's doors to the public for the first time this coming Thursday (29th September) is the newest bar in Muscat, The Oak which is found in The Cave complex overlooking Darsait just off of Qurum Heights road.
Every Thursday they plan to have what they are calling Women Crush Thursday, which is code for complimentary drinks for women between 10pm and midnight every Thursday, so I imagine it'll be pretty popular with the girls. And this Thursday is no exception - so if you are a lady and are intending on going out this Thursday night, you might want to check out the free drinks situation at The Oak.
The Oak is billed as a "live restaurant" and lounge and from the few pictures I've seen from the interior, it looks pretty slick, and definitely worth a visit to check it out... besides - it's a TOTALLY NEW bar here in Muscat... I'm definitely going to go check it out!

The Oak is an odd name, but so long as they do it right it will make a good addition to the 'scene', especially for that end of town.
