Oktoberfest at the InterContinental

This month between the 8th and the 16th of October, the InterContinental hotel are once again offering people the chance to pretend they've German with the Bavarian Oktoberfest. There's live music and entertainment from "Die Münchner Spitzbuam" and the pricing this year is different, and actually geared towards (I think anyway) allowing you to pay for, and only try what you want to.

The offer runs for just over a week, and here's the pricing breakdown:

Adults on Weekdays (Sat to Tues) RO 12 (3 Coupons worth RO 4 each)   from 7pm till 11pm
Adults on Weekends (Wed to Fri) RO 16 (4 Coupons worth RO 4 each)  from 7pm till late
Kids under 12 years Daily RO 8 (2 coupons)

There will be different stations offering dishes (starter, salad, bread, dips, main course and dessert) with price of RO 4 per plate whilst RO 4 is the price for any type of beer. So basically you can pay RO 12 (or 16 on the weekends) and have 3 pints of the fabulous Paulaner, or you can split that between food and drink, and of course you can pay for more vouchers too. Obviously if you like to really enjoy the food and drink it might cost you a bit more!

Now remember, if you meet an actual German at the thing, make sure you don't mention the emissions!
