Hijri new year holidays announced!


It's just been officially announced, Sunday 26th October will be a public holiday to celebrate the start of the new Islamic year. A return to work on Monday 27th October, which means we have a 3 day weekend!

    Have you noticed that the coloured lights on the Sultan Qaboos highway, that are normally up by the first week in October, have failed to materialise this year?

    I wonder why...

  4. Does this mean that all bars be closed this weekend or only closed on Saturday/Sunday?
