The BBC world service (English on 103.2 and Arabic on 89.8) went on air sometime yesterday, with the formal switching on ceremony taking place at 11:30 this morning.

    Hello there,
    Can u pls confirm if BBC serice broadcast also in Salalah , Dhofar in general and what is channel tune?

    Mystified why the BBC seems to have gone off the air; 103.2 had complete silence yesterday and this morning. Transmitter failure or have they been taken off the air?

    The BBC's become my favourite radio station whenever I'm in the car - have virtually stopped listening to any other channel. Bring 'em back!
