Well we're officially through the dark months of no holidays, and this morning the dates for the Leilat al-Meiraj (Ascension of the Prophet) public holiday was announced:

Public sector - Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th June off, returning to work on Monday 18th June
Private sector - Saturday 16th June off, returning to work on Sunday 17th June

Nice, a long weekend for everyone!

    Bars will be closed from 6pm on Saturday until Sunday midnight, a total of 30 hours.
